Gun Shop Protesters Acquitted
All twelve of the activists arrested for occupying a Philadelphia gun shop in connection with the "Heeding God's Call" peace gathering were acquitted on May 16. The attorney representing the defendants, Ralph Krasner, argued in court that "their behavior was justified because they were trying to prevent a great evil by doing a lesser evil."
