This book, in electronic format only, is a collection of translations from the German essays of Hans Albrecht, clerk of German Yearly Meeting during the Nazi era. Those with an interest in history may be interested to read about not only the efforts of German Quakers to help Jews and others escape from Nazi Germany, but also their establishment of a school in the Netherlands for teachers and children who wished to get out of Germany. Mills has also translated writings by those very children in a separate volume (see universalistfriends.org for details). This eBook is available on Amazon and Smashwords.
