Kat Richter, a member of Trenton (N.J.) Meeting and a former intern at Friends Journal, holds an MA in Dance Anthropology. She recently published “Anthropology with an Agenda: Four Forgotten Dance Anthropologists” in the Journal of Research in Dance Education. She lives in Philadelphia and divides her time between writing and teaching dance.
