Stanley Chagala Ngesa, a fourth-generation Kenyan Quaker raised in the Maragoli Hills of Western Kenya in the traditions of both Christian Quakerism and the traditional spirituality of his people, is currently a postgraduate student of Quaker studies at Earlham School of Religion in Richmond, Ind.
