Hindmarsh<\/em>, de 96 a\u00f1os, falleci\u00f3 el 17 de octubre de 2025 en White River Junction, Vermont. Thera naci\u00f3 el 11 de febrero de 1929, hija de Henry Cope Foster y Thyra Jane (Meyers) Foster en Warwick, Rhode Island. Thera fue criada en un hogar cu\u00e1quero tradicional. En 1947, se gradu\u00f3 de la Westtown School en West Chester, Pensilvania. Recibi\u00f3 su licenciatura de la Bouv\u00e9-Boston School of Physical Education, en ese momento una filial independiente de la Universidad de Tufts, lo que la prepar\u00f3 para una carrera de por vida como fisioterapeuta.   <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thera se cas\u00f3 con Robert Gray Hindmarsh el 7 de julio de 1951, a quien hab\u00eda conocido en la granja de su familia cuando \u00e9l trabajaba all\u00ed mientras obten\u00eda su t\u00edtulo universitario en agricultura de la Universidad de Cornell. Iniciaron una sociedad basada en ideales compartidos y un profundo compromiso con la educaci\u00f3n y el servicio. En 1957, junto con varias otras familias, cofundaron The Meeting School, un internado cu\u00e1quero en Rindge, Nuevo Hampshire. Thera desempe\u00f1\u00f3 un papel esencial en la configuraci\u00f3n de la vida residencial de los estudiantes, fomentando un sentido de hogar, responsabilidad y cuidado.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En 1965, Thera y Bob se mudaron a Concord, Massachusetts, donde ella reanud\u00f3 su carrera de fisioterapeuta en el Emerson Hospital una vez que sus hijos alcanzaron la edad escolar. Ella y Bob participaron activamente en la Junta de Acton (Massachusetts). <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Alrededor de 1980, Thera y Bob se trasladaron a Wallingford, Pensilvania, donde Thera realiz\u00f3 fisioterapia a domicilio. Thera y Bob se retiraron a Putney, Vermont, en 1989, donde participaron activamente en la Junta de Putney.
