Sehemu nyingi zake hazifanyi kazi. Kuna machozi makubwa na mashimo, mashimo na kingo zilizokauka. Inachohitaji ni kurekebisha. Na kwa ujumla hiyo ni kitu ambacho sisi si vizuri sana. Wetu sio utamaduni wa kurekebisha. Mahali fulani kwenye mstari tulichanganyikiwa na kuanza kuamini kwamba ikiwa kitu kimevunjwa au kupasuka tunapaswa kuitupa nje na kupata mpya. Hatusaidiwa katika hili na mfumo unaozingatia matumizi badala ya ubora-unaozalisha vitu kwa maisha mafupi ya makusudi ili uweze kutuuza zaidi.       <\/p>\n<p>Lakini hatuwezi kutupa ulimwengu. Imekuwepo kwa muda mrefu, na inafaa kuokoa. Mbali na hilo, ni moja tu tuliyo nayo. Kwa hivyo-tunapaswa kujifunza kurekebisha.   <\/p>\n<p>Huu sio ugumu. Muda mfupi uliopita, nilipata pendeleo la kumsaidia mwanamke kijana kurekebisha vazi nililolipenda. Shimo dogo lilikuwa limeifanya isivaliwe. Tulipata mahali karibu na mshono kwenye pindo ambapo tungeweza kukata kitambaa kidogo na kukishona nyuma ili tusiache alama yoyote. Je, seams hufanya kazi katika mavazi? Je! ni mchakato gani wa kuunganishwa ambao utaniruhusu kukarabati utaftaji mrefu? Inaweza kusaidia kuwa na zana zinazofaa. Unahitaji vifaa-biti za mbao, nguo, uzi. Lakini zaidi inahitaji uvumilivu tu. Kurekebisha huchukua muda.    <\/p>\n<p>Halafu kuna uhusiano ambao huvunjika au kupasuka au kuharibika karibu na kingo. Msukumo wa kuitupa tu na kupata mpya inaweza kuwa na nguvu. Lakini tunaweza kujizoeza kurekebisha hapa pia\u2014kukubali sehemu yetu, kusikiliza kutoka moyoni, kusema samahani, tusikate tamaa sisi wenyewe au mtu mwingine, tukiweka wakati wa kuwasiliana.  <\/p>\n<p>Je, ikiwa tutafikiria kurekebisha kama shughuli muhimu katika harakati zetu za kutafuta ulimwengu unaoweza kuishi kwa kweli?
