Ninaona kwamba usemi wa zamani ni wa kushangaza, ni kweli kwa nguvu: nuru inayoangazia dhambi yako pia inakuonyesha njia ya kutoka kwayo. Kweli! Lo! (Ikiwa hupendi neno \u201cdhambi,\u201d unaweza kupenda kulifikiria kwa urahisi kama chochote kinachokuweka mbali au kukufunga kwa Roho.)    <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Wakati ninapofika kwenye maombezi (kuwaombea wengine), mara nyingi ninahisi nyepesi kama ndege, kikombe changu kinafurika, na wingi wa kiroho wa kushiriki. Pia ninaona kwamba nimepewa rasilimali za kihisia na kiroho kufanya hili. Mara nyingi, sipewi mizigo ya kuchosha bali kazi za kufurahisha. Kwa hiyo sala mara nyingi hutokeza wito, ziara, kuomba msamaha, mwaliko, au wonyesho fulani wa upendo. Na voil\u00e0! Kijana, je, ninapata kuwa ninafurahia watu!     <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lakini jambo kubwa la kiutendaji kati ya yote ambayo yametoka katika mlolongo huu wa maombi ni kile ambacho kimeishia kutokea katika awamu ya maombi. Miezi kadhaa iliyopita, ilianza kubadilika kuwa orodha ya mambo ya kufanya.  Maombi yangu kwa Mungu alainishe na kufungua moyo na akili yangu na kuniongoza yaliishia kutoa orodha za kila aina ya mambo niliyohitaji kufanya mara tu nilipolainishwa na kufunguliwa. Sasa simaanishi kupendekeza kwamba kazi hizi lazima zitukuzwe au kwamba nisingefanya hapo awali. Hiyo huweka furaha na usawa katika maisha yangu. Wakati orodha yangu ya mambo ya kufanya inapokua kutokana na kukiri, mambo ambayo huwa naahirisha kuyahusu yanawekwa wazi na kuangaziwa. Wakati orodha yangu ina msingi wa ombi, ninapata nyongeza ninayohitaji kuchukua kazi hizi; Ninapewa uponyaji au ujasiri au nidhamu ya kawaida wanayohitaji. Ninapojikita katika maombi ya maombezi, ninaona kwa uwazi zaidi kile ninachoitwa kuwafanyia wengine lakini kwa usawa ambao pia unazingatia mahitaji yangu mwenyewe.    <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Nimejifunza kuacha baadhi ya mistari tupu chini ya kichwa cha ombi katika jarida langu, kwa sababu baada ya kufanya maombezi kuna nafasi nzuri nitalazimika kurudi na kuongeza kitu. Lakini sijapewa zaidi ya ninavyoweza kufanya, licha ya ukweli kwamba kazi inayohitaji kufanywa haina mwisho na haina mwisho. Ninapenda kufikiria Roho anasherehekea ushindi huu mdogo pamoja nami.       <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sasa ninaweza kusema kwamba shajara yangu karibu ni sala kabisa na kwamba mpaka kati ya mazoezi yangu ya kiroho na siku yangu yote umefichwa bila matumaini. Mara nyingi mimi hurejea kwenye shajara yangu wakati wa mchana ili kukagua mambo, kufikiria upya jambo fulani, kuongeza mchepuko au msukumo usiotarajiwa, kurekodi mafanikio ya bonasi, au kupanga upya baada ya kukatishwa tamaa au kushindwa. Je, ni sehemu gani ya maisha yangu ambayo hailingani na kategoria za shukrani, ungamo, dua, au maombezi, na orodha za mambo ya kufanya zinazotokana na hayo? Orodha zangu za mambo ya kufanya hukua katika kina kirefu cha udongo wa maisha ya maombi ya furaha, na kuwakilisha baadhi ya matunda yake.
