Ulimwengu wetu ni ambamo uyakinifu na ubepari vinaweza kuenea sana hivi kwamba vinaingilia akili ya mtu na kudhibiti maamuzi yake ya kila siku. Haijalishi jinsi wahudumu wa Quaker wanavyojaribu kuzungumza na hali za watu kwa ufasaha, bado kuna watu ambao hawapati mwamko wa Nuru ya Ndani ndani yao. Huwa najiuliza: wahudumu wanawezaje kuwasaidia watu wengine kukutana na mwamko wa kiroho na kurejesha nafsi yao ya kiroho iliyosahaulika? Swali hili limekuwa mojawapo ya jitihada zangu zinazoendelea kama mkurugenzi wa kiroho anayefanya kazi nchini Korea Kusini.    <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Baada ya kuhitimu kutoka katika seminari nchini Marekani na huku nikijaribu kufikiria jinsi ningeweza kushiriki huduma ya mwongozo wa kiroho kwa wasikilizaji wengi zaidi, nilirudi Korea. Nikiwa mhudumu mchanga na mwenye kijani kibichi, nilijifunza kwamba uwanja wa mambo ya kiroho na mwongozo wa kiroho bado ni mpya kwa Wakorea wengi. Kila nilipojitambulisha kuwa \u201cmwelekezi wa kiroho,\u201d watu, kutia ndani marafiki zangu wa karibu Wakorea, waliniuliza ni nini. Nilichanganyikiwa sana na majibu yao. Kadiri nilivyoeleza zaidi dhana ya hali ya kiroho kwa vishazi kama vile \u201ckutafuta nafsi yangu ya ndani,\u201d \u201ckuishi kwa uongozi wa nafsi ya ndani ambayo imeunganishwa na chanzo cha Uzima,\u201d na \u201ckuandamana na uongozi wa Mungu,\u201d ndivyo walivyochanganyikiwa zaidi. Nilikuwa nikitumia lugha tofauti na kuishi katika ulimwengu tofauti.     <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Katika utamaduni huu ambao ni tasa wa kiroho, niligundua kwamba sanaa inaweza kuwa mlango wa kiroho. Rafiki mmoja Mkorea ambaye aliona mchoro wangu alipendekeza nifanye maonyesho ya sanaa. Hakujua jinsi kazi za sanaa zilivyoundwa, wala kwamba zilikuwa zao la malezi yangu ya kiroho: bidhaa kutoka kwa uongozi wa Mungu na ufunuo unaofanya kazi kupitia mikono yangu. Nilimuuliza ni vipande vipi alivyopenda, na akasema alipenda vipande vyangu vya &#8221;mama&#8221;. Katika mchakato wangu wa kuhuzunika, nilikuwa na hamu kubwa sana ya kuunda matiti ya kike. Hoja ya mimi kufanya kazi na udongo na kupitia udongo ilikuwa kuruhusu mwili wangu kuongoza kazi, badala ya akili yangu. Wakati huo, jumla ya vipande vilikuwa sita tu:     <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kengele za Matiti<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">,  <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kifuani<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">,  <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Maziwa<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">,  <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tumbo<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">,  <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kitovu<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, na  <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Chini ya Mtoto<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Walikumbuka utunzaji na upendo wa mama yangu. Hata hivyo, niliamua kuunda mchoro zaidi kwa ajili ya maonyesho. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Nilipokuwa nikifanyia kazi onyesho kama hilo mwaka wa 2012, nilisikia habari za kutisha kuhusu ubakaji wa genge kwenye basi nchini India. Ulimwengu wote ulighadhabishwa na unyanyasaji aliofanyiwa mwanadada huyo. Katika mwaka huo huo, msichana mwenye umri wa miaka 16 nchini Morocco alijinyonga kupinga sheria ya Morocco inayosema mwathiriwa wa ubakaji lazima aolewe na mhalifu. Mwaka uliofuata, kulikuwa na kilio cha Wakorea Kusini baada ya kusikia habari kwamba mtoto mdogo wa kike alivamiwa na mlawiti, matokeo ya uraibu wa mwanamume huyo kwa ponografia ya watoto. Utumbo, njia ya haja kubwa, na viungo vya uzazi vya mwathiriwa vilikuwa vimeharibika sana, na hivyo kuweka maisha yake hatarini. Matukio ya unyanyasaji wa kijinsia kwa wanawake katika jeshi na vyuo vikuu nchini Marekani yalikuwa makubwa sana hivi kwamba Bunge la Marekani lilijitahidi kushughulikia suala hilo wakati huu.     <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Niliposikia habari za unyanyasaji wa kijinsia na unyanyasaji, niligundua kuwa mwili wa kike umekuwa kitu cha ngono cha furaha na shabaha ya unyanyasaji wa kijinsia kama matokeo ya tamaduni za walaji na kulazimishwa kwa jamii ya wazalendo. Nilianza kuhisi tofauti kuhusu vipande vyangu vya sanaa. Kazi niliyounda awali ya kukumbuka upendo wa mama yangu na kutunza malezi yangu ya kiroho ghafla ikawa ishara ya maumivu, mapambano, na ukandamizaji wa wanawake, pamoja na utakatifu na mamlaka ya kijinsia yaliyopuuzwa.   Kazi hiyo ilikuwa ni kilio cha wanawake dhidi ya unyanyasaji wa kijinsia wa wanawake. Mchakato huo ulikuwa wa kuchosha sana na wa pekee hivi kwamba nyakati fulani nilihisi kwamba nilikuwa nikiishi katika chumba kidogo cha gereza.  <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kwa kuwa kazi ilikuwa juu ya kuanzisha na kugawana utamaduni wa kiroho (katika kesi hii, hali ya kiroho ya kike), nilijaribu kuunganisha michakato ya kiufundi na maudhui katika vipande nilivyounda kwa maonyesho. Ufinyanzi ni mbinu kamili ya kuchunguza hali ya kiroho: udongo ni nyenzo ya udongo ambayo huweka msingi wa moyo wa mwanadamu. Mchakato wa kurusha joto la juu katika tanuru ni\u2014kama hata wasioamini Mungu wanavyokiri\u2014kama kazi ya kiroho. Ni wakati ambapo wafinyanzi hujisalimisha kwa utaratibu wa Asili na kuacha udhibiti wao juu ya mchakato wa ubunifu. Huku wakiweka tumaini lao wenyewe na hamu ya kazi hiyo, wafinyanzi huweka kazi yao motoni na Mungu, wakiomba kwamba Mungu akamilishe kazi hiyo bora. Hakika ni mazoezi ya kiroho. Kwa sababu hiyo, nilichagua ufinyanzi kama njia kuu ya kueleza mada ya mfululizo wa mambo ya kiroho. Nilijua kuwa wanawake wengi hufanya kushona kwa mikono kama ufundi wa kawaida wa kila siku, na kwa hivyo nilitumia kushona kwa mkono kuashiria wanawake. Kwa kuwa mbao za mchanga huangazia mwanga na ufundi wa majani ni mchakato wa kitamaduni wa sanaa ya Kikorea, niliongeza mbinu za kueleza uzuri wa hali ya kiroho. Kupitia michakato hii yote ya ubunifu na nyenzo, nilitafuta kufungua ufahamu wa nishati ya Mama Asili, nafsi, na uzuri: yaani, nishati ya kike, nafsi, na uzuri. Kazi yangu inaangazia hali ya kiroho ya umama, mwanamke, kike, na ujinsia. Pia inazingatia utakatifu na utakatifu wa mwili wa kike.           <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Baada ya kukamilisha mfululizo huo, niliwasilisha jalada langu kwa jumba la sanaa la umma linalomilikiwa na jiji la Seoul. Taarifa ya sanaa ya   <\/span><i><br \/>\n  <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mfululizo wa 1 wa Kiroho: Mwanamke<\/span><br \/>\n<\/i> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">alikuwa kama ifuatavyo:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Katika jamii ya wahenga na katika utamaduni huu wa ulaji potofu, miili ya wanawake imekuwa ikinyanyaswa na kuteswa kama vitu vya ngono na kufanyiwa ukatili wa kijinsia. Kukandamizwa kwa \u201cuanamke\u201d huu, hata hivyo, kunamaanisha pia kwamba mwelekeo wa kike, Anima, uliopo ndani kabisa ya wanaume wote, pia unakandamizwa na kujeruhiwa. Hivyo, nafsi yetu ya pamoja imegawanyika na kufadhaika. Ninaposhughulikia mateso, dharau, na maumivu yanayowapata wanawake na miili yao, ninatumai pia kutoa sherehe na fahari ya wanawake katika kazi yangu. <\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kwa bahati nzuri, kwingineko yangu na taarifa hii ilikubaliwa kwa alama ya juu. Mchakato wa usakinishaji haukuwa mzuri kama nilivyotarajia. Kusema ukweli, sikuwa na wasiwasi wa kuweka wakati na ilinibidi kuahirisha tarehe yangu ya ufunguzi kwa siku. Natumai watu\u2014wanaume na wanawake\u2014waliotazama kazi yangu hatimaye wataamka kwa nafsi na roho zao za kike zilizokandamizwa, na kufanya kazi kuelekea urejesho wa mwanamke aliyejumuishwa.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><div class=\"woo-sc-quote\"><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Watu waliona sanaa hiyo, ikawakaribisha kuingia ndani.<\/p><\/div><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ni mara chache <span class=\"dropcap\">nimepata<\/span><!--\/.dropcap--> mazoezi ya mwelekeo wa kiroho kwa njia ya kitamaduni na watu wawili wakizungumza katika nafasi ya faragha. Nimeongoza warsha za mwelekeo wa kiroho wa sanaa mara mbili pekee tangu niliporudi Korea, lakini maonyesho ya sanaa yanaonekana kuwa yamefanya kazi sawa.  Watu waliona sanaa hiyo, ikawakaribisha kuingia ndani. Natumai onyesho la sanaa linaweza kutumika kama aina mpya, inayoibuka ya huduma ya kiroho na mwelekeo wa kiroho, ili watu ambao ni wapya katika hali ya kiroho waweze kukutana na harakati za kiungu maishani mwao.
