Gwynedd Friends Meeting, Minutes of the Women's Meeting for Business 1717-1721

Att our monthly meeting of women friends att Gwynedd the 24th of the 7th month 1717
Robert Jones and Ann Coulstone Delclared their Intensions of marriage with each other the 1th time and this meeting appoints sarah Dawes and Edith Dawes to inspect into her conversation and Clearness from all others and make report thereof all next meeting
William Harmer and Ellinor Richardson Declared their intentions of marriage with each other the first time and mary Polls & Lowrey Jones are appointed to inspect into her Clearness & Conversation and make report thereof att the next meeting.
Gwynedd & Plymouth Overseers being called had nothing in charge to this meeting save the forementioned.
Att our Monthly meeting of women friends held att Gwynedd the 29th of the 8th month 1717
Gwynedd & Plymouth Overseers appeared had nothing to lay before this meeting.
John Shiers & Sarah Williams Declared their intentions of marrying the second time with each the second time and are left to their liberty to accomplish their said intention.
William Harmer & Ellinor Richardson Declared their intentions of marriage with each other the second time and are left to their liberty to proceed to accomplish their said intentions.
This meeting have had in consideration and agreed that for the future -?- att time two women be appointed as inspectors to see if marriage of such persons as have received the monthly meetings final approbation or permission be accomplished according to the good order to make report thereof
Edith Dawes & Lowrey Jones are by this meeting appointed to attend the service of the next Quarterly Meeting att Philadelphia.

Margaret Jones having Produced a Certificate from Province Monthly Meeting relating to her life and conversation which was read att this meeting approved of and ordered to be recorded.

Jenken Evans and Alce Morgan Declared their intention of marriage with each other the first time and this meeting appoints Jane Jones and Cathrine Williams to inspect into her Clearness and Conversation and make report therof att next Meeting.
Att our Monthly meeting of women friends, held att Gwynedd the 30th of 7th 1718
Jenken Evans and Alce Morgan Declared their intention of marriage with each other the second time and finding things Clear they are permitted to accomplish their said intention. This meeting appoints Cathrine Williams and Jane Jones to see that marriage be accomplished according to good order and bring their report to the next monthly meeting.
Dannell Morgan and Eliza Roberts Declared their intention of marriage with each other the first time. This meeting appoints Jane Evans and Gainor Jones to inspect into her Clearness and Conversation and bring in their account to the next meeting.
Sage Ellis having produced a Certificate from Abington monthly meeting In order to Joyn herself to this meeting was read and approved.
Gwynedd and Plymouth Overseers being called have nothing att present in Charge to bring to this meeting

Ellinor Edwards produced a Certificate from Abington monthly meeting in order to Joyn herself to this meeting & was read and approved of. Elizabeth Richardson, Margaret Humphrey and Edith Daws are appointed to attend the service of the next Quarterly meeting

Plymouth Overseers being Called have nothing att present to offer to this meeting
Humphrey Jones and Cathrine Jones Declared this intention of marriage with each other the second time and their proceedings are approved of. Ellin Foulk and Gainor Jones are appointed to see that the marriage is orderly accomplished and bring their account to the next meeting.
Rees David and Margaret Morgan Declared their intention of marriage with each other first this meeting appoints Jane Evans and Cathrine Williams to inspect into her Clearness from all other and also to her conversation and bring account to our next meeting.
Gwen David and Elizabeth Morgan are appointed to speak with Gainor Musgrave concerning her keeping company with one in order for marriage against her relation and frds advice

Gwynedd and Plymouth Overseers being called have nothing to propose to this meeting.
The frds appointed last meeting to speak with Gainor Musgrave have no satisfactory account. Frds still continue their care and appoint Elizabeth Richardson and Sarah Daws Concerning the foregoing matter
Cadwalader Jones and Martha Thomas Declared their intentions of marriage with each the first time this meeting appoints Gainor Jones & Ellinor Robert to inspect to her Clearness and Conversation and make report thereof att the meeting
Cadwalader Foulk and Mary Evans Declared their Intentions of marriage with each other the first time this meeting appoints Jane Evans & Cathrine William to inspect into her Clearness and Conversation and make report thereof next meeting.

Cadwalader Jones and Martha Thomas Declared their intentions of marriage with each other the first [sic, this the 2nd time –JQ] time their proceeding are approved of Gainor Jones and Jane Evans to see the marriage orderly accomplished.
Cadwalader Foulk and Mary Evans Declared their intentions of marriage and were approved. Jane Evans and Cathrine William are appointed to see the marriage orderly accomplished.
