1st Overseers have nothing att present to offer to this meeting

2nd Our friend Hannah Trotter produced a certificate from Abington Monthly Meeting in order to join herself to this Meeting was read and received.

3rd It being agreed upon by this Meeting to nominate four women friends to go in company with the men to visit families within the compass of Gwynedd Preparative. [the meeting selected] Alice Griffith, Phebe Evans, Margaret Jones, and Mary foulk.

4th Jane Lewis, Margaret Jones and Elizabeth Evans are appointed to attend the service of Quarterly Meeting at Philadelphia.

5th Collected by Gwynedd Meeting the sum of 14s, 6d.

1st Hugh Jones and Janes Evans Declared their intentions of marriage with each other the first time. This Meeting appoints Alice Griffith and Jane Lewis to inspect into her clearness and conversation and bring report thereof to next meeting.

2nd John Richard and Lowrey Evans declared their intentions of marriage the first time this meeting appoints Jane Evans and Cathrine William to inspect her clearness and conversation and bring report thereof next Meeting

3rd Gainor Jones and Jane Jones are appointed to attend the Quarterly Meeting att Philadelphia.

4th The overseers being called have nothing to propose to this meeting.

The Overseers being called have nothing in Charge to this Meeting.

Edith Dawes and Hannah Rees are chosen by Plymouth Preparative Meeting Overseers for the ensuing year and this Meeting approves of them.

The Meeting hath appointed four women to visit families of friends that belonged to Gwynedd Meeting (to witt) Cathrine William of Montgomery, Margaret Jones, Cathrine William and Ellin Evans to which they have consented and are desired to bring an account of their service next meeting.

Att our Monthly Meeting held att Gwynedd the 30th of the 2nd mo 1723.

Samuel Spencer and Mary Dawes Declared their intention of Marriage with each other for the first time. Mary Owen, [and] Hannah Trotter are appointed to inspect into her clearness as also into her Conversation and bring report thereof next Meeting.

Cathrine William and Gainor Jones are appointed to attend the service of the Quarterly Meeting att Philadelphia and to report from the several branches belonging to this monthly meeting that things in general are pretty well among us and that there is a growing care upon the mind of concerned friends that the testimony of truth may be kept up and what appears wrong may be rectified and that love and unity may still be maintained among us.

John Roberts and Mary Daws Declared their Intention of Marriage the first [above first is written second] time and account given of her conversation and clearness are left to their Liberty to Consumate their said intention. Ruth Evans, Ellin Evans to see their marriage orderly accomplished and bring their report to next Meeting.

Elizabeth Richardson and Ellin Evans are appointed to attend the service of the Quarterly Meeting.

Dear Friends we salute you and give you to understand that inquirey hath been made into the state of this Meeting and by account given we have to say that our first and week day Meeting are kept up. Where neglect or indifference appears its hoped there are [divers?] will find themself engaged to [stizpp?] other to watch fullness and keep to our ancient Testimony that society same love and nearness may still be continued among us.

Mary Spencer hath proposed to this Meeting for a Certificate in order to join herself to Abington Monthly Meeting. This Meeting appoints Ellin Meredith and Hannah Rees to draw a Certificate for her against next Meeting.

Request being made att this Meeting for a Certificate for Lowery Richard relating to her life and conversation which Draw Signed and Directed att the Meeting to Haverford Monthly Meeting.

The Overseers being Called have nothing in Charge to this Meeting.

Meeting Mary Tucker produced a Certificate from Abington Meeting which was read received by this Meeing.

Att our Monthly Meeting held att Gwynedd 24th 7th mo. 1723.

The women friends appointed Last Meeting to draw a certificate for Mary Spencer which was accordingly done which was read signed and directed to Abington Meeting.

John Harries [Harris] and Gainor Hugh Declared their intention of marriage the first time. Cathrine William and Gwen Foulk are appointed to inspect into her Clearness and Conversation and bring report thereof next Meeting.

Att our Monthly Meeting held att Gwynedd the 26th of 8th mo 1723.

John Harris and Gainor Hugh Declared their Intention of marriage the second time and are left to their Liberty to Consumate their said intention. Cathrine William, Gwen foulk are appointed to see their marriage orderly accomplished and bring account thereof next meeting.

Richard Thomas and Margaret Owen Declared their intention of marriage with each other the first time this meeting appoints Edith Daws and Sarah Daws to inspect into Clearness and Conversation and bring report thereof next Meeting.

Cathrine William and Ruth Evans are appointed to attend the Quarterly Meeting att Philadelphia and to report that by account received from the severall branches belonging to Meeting that the first [and] week day Meeting are kept up that in a generall way love and unity is maintained among us.

John More [Moore] and Ann Jones Declared their intetntions of marriage the first time. This meeting appoints Edith Daws and Sarah Daws to inspect into her Clearness and Conversation and bring report thereof to the next Monthly Meeting.

1st Plymouth Subscription: 0.4.7

2nd Richard Thomas and Margaret Owen declared their intention of Marriage the second time and are left to their Liberty. Edith Daws and Sarah Daws are appointed to see the marriage orderly accomplished and bring report thereof next meeting.

3rd the friends appointed to attend the Marriage of John Harris and Gainor Hugh reported it was orderly accomplished.

4th John More and Ann Jones declared their intention of Marriage with each other the second time and are left to their Liberty to Consumate their said intention. Sarah Daws and Hannah Rees are to see their Marriage be orderly accomplished.

5thly Our friend Anne Roberts haveing been to visit friends att North Carolina and produced two Certificates of her service one from North Carolina and one from Virginia which was read and well received.

Att our Monthly Meeting hed att Gwynedd the 29 of the 11 mo 1723

1st The friends appointed to make inspection of the orderly accomplishment of the marriage of Richard Thomas, John More and their wives gave in their report of the consumation thereof.

2nd George Harmor [Harmer] and Anne William Declared their intention of Marriage with each other the first time. This Meeting appointed Mary foulk and Hannah Grisner to inspect into her Clearness and Conversation and bring report thereof next Meeting.

Att our Monthly Meeting held att Gwynedd 25th 12 mo. 1723

George Harmor and Anne William Declared their intention of marriage the second time. They are left to their Liberty.

Some of our Women Friends has a concern upon their minds Relating to visit families which with the concurrance of our men friends is agreed upon. Anne Robert, Gwen Morris, Cathrine William and Elizabeth Evans are desired to make some progress in the service thereof against next Monthly Meeting.

Att our monthly Meeting held att Gwynedd the 31st 1 mo 1724

1st Elizabeth Robinson have produced a certificate from Haverford Monthly Meeting in order to joyn herself in membership with this meeting - [it]was read and well approved of and oredered to be recorded.

2nd The friends appointed the last Meeting to attend the marriage of George Harmer and Anne William report that it was orderly accomplished.

3rd The women friends of Haverford monthly meeting sent a paper of Gainor Jones (wife of Edward Jones) condemning a fact committed while among us which being read and received by them this Meeting have read the same and account of said Meetings Proceeding with which we joyn and acquiese.

Att our Monthly Meeting held att Gwynedd the 28th of the 2nd mo 1724

2nd Gainor Jones and Jane Jones are appointed to attend the Quarterly Meeting att Philadelphia and signifie that att this time our account cant be so full as we could Desire by reason of this Meeting but in from the severall brancehs of this Meeting but as far as we know first day meeting are well atended and week day meeting are kept up and friends in generall way in love and unity among us.

2nd Charles Crusey and Mary Davis Declared their intention of marriage the first time. This Meeting appoints Edith Dawes and Hannah Rees to inspect into her life and conversation and make report thereof next Meeting.

Collected of Gwynedd friends the sum of 1.4.0.

4th Anne Roberts, Elizabeth Evans, Ellin Robert are appointed to attend the Quarterly Meeting att Philadelphia and to signifie that things in generall are pretty [well] - our first Day meeting and week day Meeting are kept up and friends are in Love and unity and good consa? and the minds of divers that the Discipline and good order of the truth may be preserved and maintained among us.

Att our Monthly Meeting held at Gwynedd the 25th 6th mo 1724.

Charles Crusey and Mary Davis Declared their intention of marriage the second time nothing is found but the young women is Clear - they are left to their Liberty to consumate their Marriage. Edith Daws, Hannah Rees are appointed to see the marriage orderly accomplished.

The Overseers of Gwynedd and Plymouth being called have nothing in Charge to this meeting onely the Collected from Plymouth which is 15s.10d.

The Women friends appointed to attend the marriage of Charles Crusey Reported It was orderly accomplished. Ruth Evan, Ellin Roberts, Elizabeth Ellis are Appointed at attend the Service of the next Quarterly Meeting and to Report that Inquiry hath been made into the State of this our meeting and by account ... have to report that our first and weekday meeting are kept up and faithfull friends concerned to put in Practice Good order and Discipline and to preserve Love and unity which for a Good Degree hath hetherto been maintained among us.

4th Alice Griffith and Elizabeth Evans are Chosen as overseers by Gwynedd Preparative and are approved by this Meeting.

5th Joseph Jones and Elizabeth Samuel Declared their Intentions of marriage with each other the seoncd time. Alice Griffith and Cathrine Williams are appointed to make Inspection unto her Life and Conversation and bring Report to the next meeting.

6th Samuell Richard and Elizabeth Evans Declared their Intentions of marriage with each other the first time. Alice Griffith and Cathrine WIlliams are appointed to Inspect into her Clearness and Conversation and bring Report to the next Meeting.

7th Gwynedd Preparative Reported that their own meeting has under Consideration that weighty service of visting ffamilies and haveing laid the matter four women ffriends signifie their willingness to comply with this meetings Request and goe on as they find freedom - [they are] Alice Griffith, Jane Lewis, Margaret Jones, Ruth Evans.

1st Joseph Jones and Elizabeth Samuell Declared their Intentions of marriage with Each other the second time. Hannah Rees and Jane Pugh are desired to attend their marriage they being left to their Liberty to Accomplish their said Intentions.

2nd Samuell Richard and Elizabeth Evans Declared their Intentions of Marriage with each other the second time things found clear their said Proposal of Marriage is allowed of. Ellin Evans, Ruth Evans are appointed to see that the same be orderly accomplished.

3rd a Comfortable and satisfactory account of visiting being given both by the vistors and the visited as far as is Gone through

4th The women ffriends appointed Last meeting to attend the marriages Last past Reports It was orderly accomplished

5th Plymouth ffriends appointed Last meeting Lydia Harry and Jane Pugh as overseers to take care of truths affairs and this meeting approves of them

Att our monthly meeting of women ffriends held att Gwynedd the 26th of the 3 month 1726

6th The overseers of the severall meetings are Called over and nothing appears but in a generall way things are pretty well among us.

7th Some of our women ffriends finding freedom and willingness to accompany men friends In their visits - to the Remotest Parts of Belonging to this meeting, have to signifie of their kind Reception among friends. Its also hoped by the account of others att this meeting that their visit has been of service.

2nd Joshua Dickison and Elizabeth Morris Declared their Intentions of marriage with each other the first time. This meeting appoints Ellin David and Jane Ellis to make Inspection into her Clearness and Conversation and bring Report thereof to the next meeting.

1st Joshua Dickison and Elizabeth Morris Declared their Intentions of marriage the second time. nothing appears to obstruct they are Left to their Liberty to accomplish their said Intention. Ellin Meredith and Jane Ellis are appinted to attend the marriage and see that it is orderly accomplished and bring Report to next Meeting.

2nd We have received a few lines of a Certificate from our friends att Merion concerning our friend Jane Roberts which Recommends her under the Care of ffriends here.

3rd The friends appointed to attend the Last Quarterly Meeting gave in their account. No business to this meeting.

4th our friend Elizabeth Richard proposed for a certificate to this meeting - the two women appointed in her marriage Clearness is to give an account to the men appointed to draw the certificate.

Plymouth friends collected the sum of 0-6-0.

6th Our friend Cathrine Thomas proposed for a Certificate att this meeting. Two women friends appointed to see into her Life and Conversation - [they are] Sarah Shiers and Sarah Dawes.

Att our monthly meeting held att Gwynedd the 27th of 7th mo 1726

1st Richard Jacobs and Barbra Woolerie [sic - JQ, should be Woolrush] Declared their Intentions of marriage the first time. Margaret Jones and Mary ffoulke are appointed to Inspect into her Clearness and Conversation and bring Report to the next meeting.

2nd Elizabeth Richards Certificate was read and signed.

1st Richard Jacobs and Barbara Woolrush Declared their Intentions of marriage with each other the second time and are left to their Liberty to Consumate their said Intention and Elizabeth Richardson are appointed to see Same orderly Accomplished.

2nd Margaret Jones and Elizabeth Ellis are appointed to attend the Service of the next Quarterly Meeting att Philadelphia.

1st Edward Rees and Elizabeth Thomas Declared their Intentions of marriage with each other the first time - Alice Griffith and Jane Lewis are Appointed to inspect into her Clearness and Conversation and bring Report thereof to the next Meeting.

2nd This meeting haveing received a paper from the yearly meeting att Burlingtown Containing divers seasonable Cautions against Pride and following Evill. its tenderly desired by this meeting that due Care Be taken by all heads of ffamilies that they suffer none under their Care to [were?] any of the Particulars mentioned.

1st Abell Walker and Sina Pugh Declared their Intentions of marriage with each other the second time and being left to their Liberty This meeting appoints Alice Griffith and Cathrine Williams to attend their marriage and that its orderly accomplished.

2nd The women friends who for some time past were Appointed to visit the families of ffriends within the Compass of Gwynedd Preparative have made thorough visit and accordingly brought a sweet and seasonable account to this meeting. Likewise the ffriends who were visited signifie their satisfaction with desires so good a service may for time to come be continued among us.

8th Owen Roger and Ann Thomas declared their Intentions of marriage with each other the first time - Lydia Harry and Elizabeth Roberts are appointed to Inspect into her Clearness and Conversation and bring Report therof to the next Monthly Meeting

1st Isaac Melin and Jane Pugh declared their Intentions of marriage with each other the second time - Sarah Daws and Sarah Hank are appointed to see that their marriage be soberly and decently accomplished.

2nd Owen Rogers and Ann Thomas declared their intentions of marriage with each other the second time, and being left to their Liberty, this Meeting Appoints Gwen Morris and Elizabeth Ellis to see their marriage Accomplished According to good order of truth.

1st Jonathan Worel [Worrell, Worrall] and Mary Tailor declared their Intentions of marriage with each other the second time and are left to their Liberty to Consumate their said Intention - Jane Lewis and Esther Lewis are appointed to attend their marriage and bring account to the next meeting.

2nd Lidia Harry and Elizabeth Roberts are Chosen by Plymouth Preparative Meeting to be Overseers

3rd Lidia Harry, Hannah Rees and Elizabeth Roberts are by this meeting appointed to give an account of the life and Conversation of Jane Melin and Ann Rogers to the men ffriends in order to draw a Certificate Accordingly against the next Meeting.

4th Alice Griffith and Cathrine Williams are Appointed by this meeting to give in their Account of the Life and Conversation of Sina Pugh in order to draw her a Certificate.

4th Ellin Davies and Jane Hugh are Appointed by Plymouth Preparative Meeting and well approved of by this meeting as visitors of friends ffamilies within the Compass of their Meeting.

5th Ann Roberts and Jane Hugh are Chosen by Gwynedd Preparative Meeting as overseers, and Alice Griffith is desired by this Meeting to Continue in this year to assist in that weighty service.

Plymouth Preparative Meeting having made choice of four women ffriends, to that weighty service of visiting families - Ellin David, Jane Ellis, Rachel Potts and Grace Esborn [Eastbourne] which this meeting approves of and desires they may goe on as they find freedom.

Gwynedd ffreinds having as yet done nothing with respect to that service, by reason of some inconveniency that fell in their way this month, but yet are desired by this meeting to continue in that concern, and go on in the said service, and as they find in the wisdom of truth themselves enabled and the way to open.
