1st John Pickering and Hannah Dawes - 2nd intentions - his certificate from Buckingham received - George Lewis and John Jones to oversee the marriage

2nd Joseph Cox and Catharine Watson - 2nd intentions - John Jacobs and David Thomas appointed

3rd William Morris and Elin William - 1st intentions - John Jones and John Davis appointed to inspect clearness

4th John Bell and Hannah Rees - 1st intentions - Wm Trotter and John Jones to inspect clearness

11th Roger Roger disowned, he "Acknowledged the way too straight for him to walk in as his conduct demonstrates"

12th John Jones, Owen Evans, Job Pugh, Joseph Jones are appointed to sort offenders of the same sort or like offences and to form a Minute on Terstification against such, according to the Nature of their Offences, and bring the same to next Meeting for Approbation.

Thos Lewis and William Evans to speak to Henry Coulston and get him to come to next Meeting to give satisfaction

Moses Star requested a certificate to Haverford MM to marry Sarah, the duaghter of Edward David - Thomas Lewis and William Watson to draw one up

William Conrad had already wrote a paper condemning himself and did not want to write another one as suggested by Friends

John Gordon acknowledged his transgression and asked for forebearance

Granted certificate to Moses Star to proceed in marriage at Haverford MM

Reuben Roberts asked for certificate to Chester MM - William Roberts and Joshua Dickinson appointed

James Hines asked for certificate to Darby MM - John Jacobs and David Thomas appointed

Robert Valentine asked for certificate to Bradford MM - Thomas Lewis and William Watson appointed

Joseph Richardson of Providence gave leave to a priest to marry his daughter - he was present and acknowledged the transgression, which was received

"David Harry Jr. produced to this Meeting a paper which upon reading did not seem Satisfactory; therefore it is returned desiring he may consider it and endeavour to make it more satisfactory against next Meeting"

John Penquite requested cert to Wrighttown - Joseph Ambler and Isaac Jones appointed

Elizabeth Hawkesworth gave in a paper condemning her outgoing in Marriage and is a s follows: To Friends at the Monthly Meeting of North Wales I am truly Sorry I have made a break of the good order of our discipline in Relation to my outgoing in Marriage, having thereby brought trouble upon my good Friends. I desire they will be pleased to pass it by and that I may still continue under their Care as I hope by God's Assistance my Life and Conversation will render me worthy thereof this being the needful at present from your Friend Elizabeth Hawkesworth 2nd mo. 1745. The meeting receives the same and she admitted into Fellowship as her future Life and Conversatoin recommends her worthy."

1st A Friend Signified to last Meeting that William Conrad was sick and could not come to this Meeting so the affiar is defer'd for some time longer-

2nd The Friends appointed to draw the two Certicfates for the Persons mentioned last Meeting have performed their Charge which were approved and signed

3rdly The Friends apointed to draw a Certificate for John Penquite have not performed that service, they are therefore continued;;

4thly A Complaint Exhibited some time ago by Amos Janny against John Roberts is still continued. John Jones and Rees Harry are appointed to treat with him and endeavour to prevail upon him to Compromize the same as soon as possible

5thly The Overseers of Gwynedd Signified to this Meeting that Edward Lewis and Benjamin Williams have a Considerable time ago, transgressed our discipline in marrying before a Priest, their Conversation, otherwise disorderly this Meeting appoints Rowland Roberts and John Forman to treat with them and endeavour to bring them to a sense of their outgoing and to give satisfaction for the same and report as they find to our next Meeting

6thly Rowland Hugh, Abraham Dawes, Joseph Ambler, John Forman, Samuel Davis and WIlliam Roberts are appointed to attend the Service of the next Quarterly Meeting at Philadelphia, and to report that Love and Unity is maintained amongst us, Meetings kept up, and endeavours are used to put the Discipline of the Church in practice.

Att our Monthly Meeting held in Gwynedd the 27th of the 6th mo 1745 -- (full transcription)

1st William Conrfad sent by a Frtiend that he was not yet able to attend this Meeting; but desires a little time longer, which this Meeting Grants, hoping that by the next Meeting he may be prepared to give Satisfaction

2nd The Friends appointed to write a Certicate for John Penquite have performed that Charge which was approved and signed

3rd Granted at this Meeting a Certificated for Rachel Williams to Chester Monthly Meeting

4th Benj Williams being present gave in a paper which upon reading did not seem Satisfactory, the siad paper is returned to him desireing he may endeavour to make it more extensive and in better form by next Meeting

5thly John Roberts being present fave this Meeting to Understand that he intends to get the Money and go and pay man as soon as possible. This Meeting desires he may be as expedient as possible, also appoints John Evans and Rees Harry to write to Amos Janney of the proceedings of Friends on this Affair.

6thly The Friends appointed to speak with Edward Lewis report that he was not provided to give Satisfaction; but desired one Month's forebearance; The said Friends are again Continued to speak with him, and endeavour to bring him to a sense of his outgoing, and then to condemn the same.

7thly Application being made for a Certificate for Ellis Hugh to Abington Monthly Meeting to proceed in Marriage with a duaghter of William Atkison. - Robert Evans and WIlliam Foulke are appointed to make the necessary enquiry and write one accordingly.

8thly Application being made for a Certificate for Rowland Richard, and wife to Chester Monthly Meeting, Joshua Dickinson and Samuel Davis are appointed to enquire of their Conversation and circumstance and draw one accordingly against next Meeting

Att our Monthly Meeting held at Gwynedd the 24th of the 7th mo 1745 (full transcription)

1st A paper was given into this Meeting of William Conrad; but he not being present the said paper is lodged amongst the Meeting papers and Michael Thomas is appointed to acquaint him that Friends desire he may appear at our next Meeting according to our Discipline.

2nd The Friends appointed to treat with Benjamin Williams and Edward Lewis report that they were not yet prepared to give Friends Satrisfaction; but desire the Meeting to give them some longer time, which is granted and Friends desired to treat with them as they find freedom.

3rdly Elizabeth Pugh sent in a paper Condemning her unchaste Conduct, with him she was afterwards married to, and acknowledging her Transgression and exceeding sorrow for her sin, with desires others may take warning thereby and the same is received on tryal of her future Conduct the said paper is also ordered to be read at the close of a first day Meeting at new Providence before our next Monthly Meeting the care of doing it is left to Thomas Lewis.

4th The Friends apponted to draw a Certificate for Ellis Hugh, have accordingly done it which was read and signed and directed to Abington Monthly Meeting

5th The Friends appointed to enquire and draw a Certifacte for Rowland Richard and wife have not performed that service they are therefore continued

Att our Monthly Meeting held at Gwynedd the 29th of the 8th month 1745 (full transcription)

1st William Conrad not being present according to Friends desire; the Affair is deferd one Month longer, the Overseers of Plymouth are desired to treat with him and let him know that his paper will not be Satisfactory unless he appears at this Meeting

2ndly The Friends appointed to read the paper of Elizabeth Pugh at Providence has not performed that Service, they are therefore desired to do it before our next Meeting

3rdly The Friends appointed to draw a Certificate for Rowland Richard and his wife to Chester Monthly Meeting, have accordingly done the same which was read, approved and signed.

4thly Benjamin Cox and Elizabeth Watson declared their intentions of marriage with each other the first time. Thomas Lewis and William Evans are appointed to inspect his Conversations and Clearness and report as they find to our next Meeting.

5thly A Certificate for Elizabeth Watson from Middleton Monthly Meeting/Bucks County was given into this Meeting dated the 3rd of the 8th mo last giving account of her sober life and conversation also of good report which was read and received.

6thly Thomas Daves produced a Certificate for himself and wife from Abington Monthly Meeting dated the 3rd of the 8th mo giving an Account of their Sober and inoffensive Lives and Conversation as also of good report which was read and well received.

7thly Barbara Davies sent in a paper condemning her outgoing in Marriage and Sorrow for the same with desire Friends may pass it by, and that she may be continued under their Care the same is received on tryal of her future Conduct.

8thly Towamencin Friends requesting the priviledge of holding a Meeting at their School House every other first day during the Winter Season as usual, which is granted them to begin the 2nd first day in the next Month and to continue till the latter end of the 1st month.

9th John Jones, George Lewis, James Robeson, Joseph Jones, Robert Roger and Edward Edwards are appointed to attend the service of the next Quarterly Meeting at Philadelphia and to report that Love and Unity is maintained amongst us in a good degree, Meetings kept up and endeavours used to put the discipline in practice.d
