Daniel Hewitt is a lifelong Friend. He graduated from Friends Select School and in the past has been associated with meetings in Washington, DC, London, and Ramallah. He is currently a member of Purchase Meeting, NYYM, living in Delaware and attending Wilmington Meeting, PhYM.

 Dan is a retired Emerging Markets Economist having worked at the IMF, in New York, and in London. His specialization was Eastern Europe economies with an emphasis on Russia.  

 He is married with three children and a granddaughter.
