Wind and wave, storm and claw
drag and scatter and break
the beach.

Gundega Korsts

A Latvian survivor of World War II, Gundega Korsts met English as a child and Friends worship as a young mother. Retirement is graced with art and nature, friendship and strangers, love and caring, sorrow, and respect. Each day she asks, “Am I walking in the Light?” Silence sustains her.
