Lois Jordan is a lifelong Quaker who grew up in Rich Square Meeting in Indiana and graduated from Earlham College. When Rich Square closed, she and her husband, Carl (now deceased), became members of New Castle (Ind.) Meeting. She presently resides at Friends Fellowship Community in Richmond, Ind., and is a member of West Richmond Meeting in Richmond, Ind. She is the author of Ramallah Teacher: The Life of Mildred White, Quaker Missionary, now out of print.
