Gail Whiffen

Associate Editor

Gail Whiffen is Friends Journal‘s associate editor. Her experience with Quakerism started in childhood, attending Gwynedd (Pa.) Meeting and participating in Junior Friends Conference, a Quaker summer camp organized by Abington Quarterly. Before coming to the Journal in May 2013, Gail worked in nonprofit fundraising consulting, and also had jobs managing content for an education website and improvising at an Internet startup. Gail went to Lehigh University for her undergraduate studies and lives in the Mt. Airy neighborhood of Philadelphia with her husband and two children. She enjoys music, traveling, and eating falafel.
