Michael S. Glaser, Poet Laureate of Maryland, 2004–2009, is a professor emeritus at St. Mary’s College of Maryland. Co-editor of The Collected Poems of Lucille Clifton 1965–2010, he and his wife, Kathleen (a Courage and Renewal facilitator), offer retreats that invite participants to engage with poetry as a means of helping to live an examined life.
