Kayla Schneider-Smith is a 2016–17 Portland QVS fellow who has served both with New City Initiative, an organization that aims to end the cycle of homelessness through faith community involvement, and Urban Gleaners, a food re-purposing organization that fights childhood hunger in Oregon.
