“Legacy” by “Bill Shay” has been removed from the February 2025 online edition due to plagiarism.
The actual author of the poem is Susan Comninos; its original title is “Bequeathal.” You can read it in its original format at Ninth Letter, which published it in its Winter 2020 edition.
We have strong circumstantial evidence that Bill Shay is actually John Kucera, who has had plagiarized poems published in a number of journals. His real name is John Siepkes and he may also be submitting stolen poems under the nom de plume of John M. Whitney.
